Same here. I'm tall, and have no leg room on planes as it is. Those "seats" look torturous. I'd never fly again. I'd rather drive than straddle that thing for hours. :mad:

I know that airlines are hurting and such, but this...this takes the digestive biscuit, as the English might say. I feel sorry for both the passengers and the crew of the airplane that has to endure those "seats".

I was watching CNN a day or so ago, and an airline safety expert was saying that he doubted that they would pass the the FAA and/or the EU safety tests.

not to mention that it would send passengers to an airline that dosn't have them! :rolleyes:

roflol - our radio station talk show talked about the seats, and they are just taking 7 inches - the male DJ said he didnt have 7 inches... hilarity ensued as to where his "7 inches" were located...

and ITA - I would not want to be straddling that thing when turbulence hit - or gawd forbid sitting on the tarmac for 2 hours before the flight takes off in the winter! You do know what they say happens if you ride a bike for a long time in the same position... hope you already have kids...
