Figment is one of our favs here too. It is funny because my DD has a huge puppet one that she wanted from last trip and everytime she shows it to someone they havent the foggiest who it is. We get questions like..."what movie was that in?" Is that really a Disney character? and my fav "What is that?"

He is pretty much exclusive to Epcot. As far as I know (correct me if I am wrong) there has never been any film shorts or merchandising outside WDW with the exception of maybe the pins.

We're pretty local-stay-at-home-kind-of-people...
DL is about thirty-five miles from where we live...translates to about a forty minute drive, depending on traffic. If we know we want to be there bright 'n early, we spend the night at our nephews'...they only live about five minutes away from the playground!!! [/font]

[font=Comic Sans MS]I know Elena will probably be posting this too..Elena's posted her version of the events on "We got quite a surprise today", so y'all get a chance to see what it's like to see our separate takes on the events of the day!

While wandering around DL today (7/30) & chatting with one of our favorite CMs, another couple came up to her & started a conversation. It wasn't long before we'd all joined in...They were very nice people & also APs. They'd asked us if we'd ever taken a tour of DL; more specifically the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" tour. We explained that we didn't have that kind of $$$, but had always wanted to take a tour. We said our good-byes & went off to our locker to "reload" our bubble bag. Once in the locker room, we turned around & there was the gentleman who had been in on the conversation & had asked us about the tour. (Turns out he & his wife had followed us to the lockers) He then asked us how we'd like to take the tour...Needless to say, Elena & I were taken quite aback. I wound up sitting on the locker room floor, while Elena leaned against a bank of lockers to support herself! Both of us felt ourselves go pale...we couldn't believe what we were hearing & what was being offered to us! I think "stunned" would be close...This wonderful couple, whose names are Mikey & Mindy, walked us over to the tour window, only to find that we'd missed the last tour of the day. However, Mikey paid for us to go in August. Even after we had our tickets in hand, we couldn't believe it...WE WERE STOKED!!! We thanked them profusely, kissed them :lovers: , hugged them :hug: , gave them bubbles (which we intended to do anyway; that's why the trip to the locker) & thanked them again. Walking away, Elena asked me, "Did I say 'Thank-you?'" I assured her she did, as I had done. I asked her to pinch me to make sure I was not dreaming...I'll tell y'all, it was a THRILLING moment...stuff like this just does not happen to us!
Now, I have to wait till daylight before I can tell my hubby the happy news!

Elsye & Elena, I was absolutlty THRILLED when you found me @ Souvies cashwrap. What a true double treat you both are! & your smiles light up all hearts you touch. :) Many CMs told me you both were looking for me so I was trying desperately to find you until I became too involved in transactions. A few even told me my sister & cousin were looking for me. ;) After you two left I had 8 CMs come up to me & ask who you both were & "How come you always know the coolest guests?" Thank you for the rep. I really didn't expect the wonderful, magical Bubbles as I'd received a bottle last yr. Tonight's were my YOMD gift!! They are awesome to me! I'll keep them in my truck with the other Bubbles as I am totally positive those Bubbles help get me to & from safely. Your faces were so full of joy when you told me about the couple who will make it possible to take the Walk In Walt's Footsteps Tour. I can't think of two more deserving guests/friends who should be given such a special gift. See, you both bring us all such special treats & hugs, now the gift of DL Magic has finally become yours! The tour is excellent & you both will be enthralled. Thank you for waiting for me - my lunch was only 45 min. late. So much for CDS. :( I was truly honored by you both tonight, & your hugs were so warm. No, didn't get in any trouble leaving cashwrap & talking with you both. I never work anyway. It's all show. :D: I love you both & will see you in Aug. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!
