Re: Who's seen these?
what would the purpose be for that? someone that can't bend? (fulll body cast?)
I have taken the segway tours at both parks several times, and you get tired (if you are not use to it) standing and shifting our weight and so forth.
if someone is disabled, how would they endure something like that?

^ That's how I first read it and I was very confused about what type of attractions we were talking about.GaTechGal wrote:if you can't blend, I can't see you getting on many attractions.

That bumper is exactly like the ones on the Disney Rental ECVs.
And, BTW, because of the way the bumper is made, there is no way you can get a Disney ECV on a Friendship across the Epcot Lagoon.

Re: Who's seen these?
Universal's ECVs have a very similar bumper to the Disney ones. Since the ECVs are also similar I believe Disney and Universal get their ECVs from the same manufacturer and the bumper is probably included. I bet this new style of ECV also comes from this same manufacturer.Cheshire Figment wrote:That bumper is exactly like the ones on the Disney Rental ECVs.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Incidentally those bumpers are exactly the right height to catch Converse low-tops by the heel such that you can't pull your foot loose without the driver backing off you. I know this from experience.
