The proper spelling is Portuguese, thank you. Filipinos do sometimes enjoy cockfighting but it is a cultural thing seen in many cultures.

I know how to spell it Churchy, its all in the way you say it, and they say portagees. seems if your from the islands, especailly the older people everyone is divided by race, its kinda funny.

Hotter'n Hades in Denver! Yikes, and I will bodyslam you if you say, "But it's a dry heat!" :hysteria: Honestly I PREFER the humidity...I keep getting these dam bloody noses from this arid desert! I am just staying indoors today and enjoying the AC and the SciFi channel, a lot of stoopid monster movies on today! :rolleyes: Cannot wait til the house sells and we are outa here...

Having lived in both, sues, I'm the other way around. Trade ya!

At least in Denver on a hot day, you can step into the shade and feel cooler. Or, failing that, just drive up into the mountains a short distance. Doesn't work like that here in TX.

BTW, thanx for the great weather when I was up there a couple of weeks ago!
