That is hilarious, thank you for that laughs. I feel like that right now and every item of clothing that is cool seems to be in the laundry. I am too hot here.

We went from being in the mid-nineties to 81 thanks to rain that moved in.

It's starting to get hot here now, something we were missing. It was hot on the way home, so I went topless ;)

We had rain yesterday, cooled thing off, a bit humid but not bad.

Hobie, My GF's family is from Maui, still a bunch of them there, portagees, always tryin to feed me spam and rice, hehe, I'm like the token haole. it was funny last year at WDW, we went to the Polynesian for lunch, ordered the BBQ with rice, GF's mom says to the waiter "Dat not sticky rice" shes funny, waiter came back and told her she was right, it wasnt the Hawaiian sticky rice just what they call sticky rice. I wouldnt know the difference but she sure did.

The portagees have been here forever. A lot of them think they're more Hawaiian than the Hawaiians.

You'd think we live in a Monty Python skit with all the Spam that's consumed here. The first year on the island there was a food drive. We decided to buy $200 of baby food to contribute. When we delivered it to the collection site we were told thanks, but next time just bring Spam. Yuck!

Ask your GF about plate lunches. They're made up of sticky rice and other stuff. The only places that don't serve them are tourist joints.

Macoroni salad with ketchup, yes I have heard about some of the things they eat. I'm having all kinds of experiences when it comes to food. Their kind of a funny bunch, you have to get used to it. Friendly though, and hugh family, always someone coming from the Islands. No gambling there, they love Vegas and we have Indian casinos so they will come to Cali to gamble also.

Ha ha, that's awesome.

I think half the people who live here are gamblin' fools. These guys will bet on the sun coming up. We see a lot of busts on cock fights. The Philipinos say it's a cultural deal but, with a new federal law in place, their feathers may finally be plucked.

The portagees are just as bad, give them a machine with some flashing lights and they will put money in it. My GF's mom said she was giving up gambleing for lent this year, bingo and lotto are not gambleing though.
