Actually, they do. I don't have a FastPass in front of me, so I can't type out the exact text, but you're supposed to be there during the time allotted.

Which one?? I checked a fast pass and I read no where it says they can't accept late arrivals.

It does not state specifically that you cannot come late. Darph wins this round.

I hold in my hand a fastpass for BTMRR from July 12, 2007. It says return anytime between 3:20 and 4:20, the back does state "Please enter the FASTPASS entrance at the Attraction between the times noted on the other side." It doesn't say you MUST enter between those times.

But it does say "between the times noted" and not "after the first time noted." They really should enforce both ends of the window in my opinion.

Hell yeah! I can see it now "Your Honor, we cannot prosecute these two, it's not their fault they were speeding through Garland, they have been exposed to Stupid Guests as the result of numerous visits to DLR and WDW!"

Then after Wombat bails us out of jail (yeah, we expect you to, you got us into this!), we can all go caroling Disney songs at some swanky shopping center like Firewheel, Southlake, Northpark or Willow Bend. You can leave your cooler at home, we can take mine, it has a couple wheels to make it easier to drag around. Actually I have two of them, 1.5 for the beer, .5 for the sandwiches.

That is true! My experience has been that this is a guideline and not a hard policy, plus it seemed like the rides we used fastpass for went 101 more than once (Indy and space especially).

According to my brother who is a CM (not in attractions though) the CMs are supposed to accept late FPs in the same day. This is because the guest could be delayed somewhere (food, wrong side of parade, another attraction, etc.) or the attraction may go down for a while. We used late FPs a couple times this week with no questions or problems. When we went to MK we got a FP for Space Mountain one time but when we returned during the time frame we were told Space was down and that our FPs would be good all day.
