Blue Sky are up here around my neck of the woods. They're also responsible for "Robots" and "Horton Hears a Who." It's the only movie industry employer up here in the northeast for 3D animators, much to the chagrin of those who came out of local Universities with a degree in that stuff... most of them either moved to Cali, or got sucked into the Video Game industry.

Uh is it possible for the people playing the Disney characters not to know the films too?
The reason I ask is because yesterday at DCA, I saw Mulan and Mushu. In the movie Mulan, she has a horse who is named Khan.
One of the ways I interact with the characters is to tell them to say "hi" to another character from the same film. (I.e. If I see Woody or Jessie, I ask them how Bullseye the horse is doing. Yes I love horses!)
Well I told Mulan to say "Hi" to Khan for me. She gave me a strange look as if she didn't know what I was talking about!

I think it may be possible. I met the Pink Mystic Ranger and White Dino Ranger in Dec 2008 and neither of them reacted when addressed by the names of the characters, only when addressed by Ranger Designation.

The White Dino Ranger's handler sure knew her stuff tho. I talked with her from the time she came out to start the line for him till when the Rangers arrived.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day inflation 2008

I'm standing in front of Beethoven, a large balloon, of a SAINT BERNARD...

Father walks up with son on shoulders and says...

"Look son, Clifford the big red dog"

I looked at Dad, smiled at the kid and said,

"Well, it's actually Beethoven. Clifford is much bigger and RED"

The son said "I told you dad"
The stupid....it hurts...

true, but if you are chosen to be a disney character...you need to learn who your "friends" are and the entire story becuase the die hards kid fans of your character's movie will ask you major questions that "you as that character" should know like the back of your hand :)
