I used to be quite fond of Jane from Tarzan and Anastasia, until they started showing up on eBay as Belle, just because of the yellow dresses. Listen, if they have Disney items to sell, clearly they have a Disney fan or child around. Take 2 seconds, and ask them.
What drives me more crazy is when I find Belle listed as "Sleeping Beauty." So close, and yet so far. :belleg:

Speaking of Sleeping Beauty, I always correct friends and family that her name is Princess Aurora and not Sleeping Beauty. My daughter has always called her Aurora and has actually never sat and watched the movie yet.

Hmmm, Ferb, I think I know what we are going to do this weekend.

Yeah, people tend to refer to her as Sleeping Beauty too much. It makes me wonder just how many people are aware that her actual name is Aurora.

"Sleeping Beauty" is the name of her castle, but that's not her real name!

Enjoy the trip, just watch out for Candace! ;)

LOL, wow I've never thought I say this, but you guys seem to have even more clueless guests than we do. There is a good amount of guests that don't know who the characters are buy they usually ask before getting to them. Wow, and confusing Chip and Dale with Scritch... I'm speechless I tell you.

I've never seen Ice Age, leave me alone!

Seriously, you work for Disney, a Guest says chimpmunk, you think Chip 'n' Dale, it's part of our Disney indoctronation, right after the implant that makes our head explode if we don't smile. ;)

"He's a chipmunk."

... "You mean Chip and Dale?"

"No, his name is Scritch! Don't you know your own characters?"
That SG was even further off than you thought. The Ice Age character's name is "Scrat" and he's a saber-toothed squirrel.

Well, I see it as most people are not born and raised on Disney characters
and stories much these days. what bites my goat is people calling non Disney movies and stories Disney. the foreigners are the worst ones.
just wait until Tiana hits the stage and watch the name fiascoes begin.

Of course, if someone did ask about Anastasia, I could honestly answer "Oh, you mean the Dreamworks movie that freaked the front office out so much, we felt the need to rush Little Mermaid back into theaters to make sure it didn't make any money? Sorry, don't have anything from it."
Anastasia wasn't Dreamworks...it was by Don Bluth (think Thumbelina) and Fox I believe....and is that what happened? HA!

Anastasia was released by Fox Animation and Don Bluth was the producer. As for Ice Age, contrary to previous posts, it is not a Dreamworks picture. A company called Blue Sky Studios made it and here in the U.S., 20th Century Fox distributed it.
