So glad to hear you and everyone else there is okay, hobie.

The very first thing I said- out loud at that- when I came downstairs and heard that there'd been an earthquake and Hawaii was on warnings- I looked at St. March and said "Oh no! Hobie!!!"

Was out of the house today (for once!) or would've posted sooner but believe me the whole Bru Fairy family was watching TV closely and worrying about you and yours!

Thanks for the thoughts. We were in good shape as we're up about 200 feet from sea level.

I can't say the same for the poor tourists who were run out of their hotels. Most thought to bring food and water but some were not prepared for a very nice (hot) day in Hawaii. A friend of my wife came by in her golf cart to shoot pictures and took her along. They came back and said there were a lot of people parked along the roads that had no water. We broke out the emergency cases of water and they went back out to distribute it. They really improved the day for a lot of thirsty people.

Unlike Hawaii the bars in New Orleans are located at the highest point in town. Good planning!

I'm very thankful that Hawai'i is okay, but I still haven't heard any news about my favorite Chilean wineries. SWMBO is having nightmares about thousands of broken bottles on the floors of the warehouses!

Yeah, we're both winers.
