You just do not get it that it is a RULE. It may be a stupid rule to you but it is a rule and if you ever worked for me you would have been fired in an instant.
Well, it's a good thing I don't work for you (for your sake) cuz then I'd have to hit you with a law suit for wrongful termination.

You fail to understand that if a kid gets hurt on a ride even if the height has nothing to do with the injury then Disney would lose the lawsuit because the kid should not have been allowed on that ride.
Yeah. I am so sure that the courts would say "Well Mr CM did you know this child was 1/8th of an inch too short and that is why the safety bar came loose and he slipped out."

I hope your boss reads this and becomes aware of your attitude problem. I also find that you are wrong about Zazu and owe him an apology however he is a big bird who can take care that matter.
Attitude problem???
Let me just say this...

RULE, look that up in a dictionary or try going to school and asking the kindergarten teacher to explain to you what that four letter word means.
Look up being a power hungry employee and tell me how popular they are with not only guest but other employees.
I know exactly what you and the others are trying to say about "It's the rule" I used to be that way too. I was a manager at a store and I was 100% stickler for the rules. Then I learned that some rules have bending points. The rule mentioned in this thread is one of those rules.
You know and so does everyone else in this thread and the thread in the other board that 1/8th of an inch wont make any difference. We're not talking about a CM letting in a family without paying. We're not talking about a CM letting a 2 year old ride BTM. We're talking about the difference in a CM saying to him/herself
"well, it' s1/8th of an inch. I could mak ehim tkae his shoes off and see hoe tall he really is, or I could understand that he's probly just tired and slouching some."
In a business you have to learn to give a little to get a little. A Cm letting that child ride a ride would make that child's day just FULL of magic. The CM still did their job by checking. but then made a realistic judgment call.
