PirateJohn wrote:Had the final interview today. I'll find out in a week or so how I did. Hard to say how it went, since it was pretty much just a technical interview where they asked me a whole bunch of questions about procedure and such. Can't really tell if I hit all the points they were looking for.
I would suggest sending everyone that you talked to a thank you letter.
Send each one separately, address each one separately. Thank them for taking time out of their day to meet with you, yada yada yada. Re-emphisize your strong points that they are looking for in the ideal candidate. "Match up" what they are looking for against what you can give them. Make the letter completely positive, and if you really, really want the job, send it to each person NEXT DAY LETTER. Keep it short, a page or less.
Good Luck!

Cool! Do what Zazu said and send letters anyway.

I just went to my background investigation today. I also got a conditional job offer while I was there -- so if I pass background I have a job!
Background should take about two or three months.
