my fantasmic costume reminds me of charlie brown, my fantasyland outfit reminds me of swiss mountian climber, while my tarzan treehouse outfit reminds me of the chick named margarete from the show the lost world.
"Please keep walking, if ya wanna see Fantasmic get under the rope."- my fave line when working walkways durning Fantasmic.

Guest: (walking up to my friend, a TL CM) Do you work here?
TL CM: No, I just got off work at Taco Bell and came in here
Guest: Oh, okay (actually walks away!)

Though I don't work there...I think those Star Tours Flight Suits are cool.....Might be because I do have an old military flight suit though....Use it for halloween....it completely covers you up and is kinda baggy...room to breathe.
RIP Bud Hurlbut.
You will be missed.

My favorite to wear was the Space costumes. Who knows what hideous mostrosity they're going to give to us is '05. I heard on the rumor mill they were going to be yellow. Ew.
The Tours costume for the girls is probably the most comfortable and they make your butt look good. In fact when I was getting trained there they gave me the nickname "J-Lo" because I was just absolutly fascinated by the way my butt looked.
I love the Mansion costume only because for so long I had to dress like a boy at work and now I get to look like a girl! I get to do my hair and everything! However, I am the world's biggest clutz and I have fallen down a few stairs in my time.

Which one would you like to hear first? There's three different stories that I can give you!
Let's see. The first time I fell in was after a very long 15 hour day. I was pulliing a rocket into storage at the end of the day and unitl you get into the Blue Room (where we pulled off the occasional rocket to unload a particularly heavy rocket or something of that sort) underneath the track is a ditch, and once you get into the blue room it becomes level under the rocket. Well I was exhausted so I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, pretty much doing the auto-pilot thing, and I took a step and for some reason I didn't hit the ground but instead kept going down. I took a face plant into the floor and all I could think of was to get out of the way because the rocket was going to run over me. Sprained my left knee and bruised the whole inside of my right thigh. Also broke a nail and I had just gotten them done that day. To make matters worse, the rocket waiting to dispatch had seen me go down and the one guest asked me, while laughing I might add, if I was ok. I asked him if he fell down a 3 foot ditch and almost had a 2800 pound vehicle run him over would he be ok. THEN, as I was leaving, I was walking past Honey and I hear, "Hey! That's the girl that fell into the track!" Yah, it was that same jerk. I wish I didn't have my costume on because he would have gotten it.
More to come...

I have heard that falling at the mansion is very common. And for some reason when you trip and fall it is always in front of guests.VonSeegs wrote:I love the Mansion costume only because for so long I had to dress like a boy at work and now I get to look like a girl! All the years I worked in the big house, I don't remember c.m.'s falling (despite the "treadmills") but an awful lot of guests falling on the load and unload belts. I had one particularly large woman who lost her balance as she was trying to get out of the omnimover while holding a year-or-so-old baby. She ended up doing a slow swan dive onto the unload belt and tried grabbing my skirt to keep herself from falling. In the meantime, I though she was taking the kid with her and the kid would get crushed under her girth. I hit the remote and grabbed the kid while planting my legs and somehow managed to stay upright. Still haven't figured out exactly how I did manage to stay up, because she was tugging on me pretty hard...must have been sheer willpower. I never fell on my own while ice skating, and I figured it was going to be the same in Mansion...

That reminds me of when I was at unload at the ghost house when this old italian lady used my right boob to left herself out of the buggy and gain her balance. I was so shocked all I could do was stand there with my mouth open and starting at her.
It must've benn good for her because she said thank you after she was standing. My left one felt a little unappreciated though.
