My parents are headed down there to DLP for this weekend.
For all of you castmembers working this weekend, good luck and try to stay cool in all the heat (weather and management and guest), just focus on Monday! :)

Another show of Fantasmic will probably get added, so anyone working that shift will probably get extended. It's going to be insane that's for sure.

i'll be high up on the mountian, i'll hardly even notice the crowds, you really can't even tell at thunder, it's the oddest thing, even when you're line is all the way up to the exit and making it's way back down, there's not alot of pissy people, then agian the ones that go on thunder are usually as laid back as the crew, and either wait for a major show to start and suck up our line, or just stand in it like everyone else. i was kinda excited i thought i had the day off, but also disappointed i'm carzy, and WANTED to be on the parade route, i'm happy with what i've been delt though.

It's probably a given. At a certain number in park I believe they do a 3rd show.

Yep, that's exactly how it works and since I'm guessing that the gates will be closed before noon, we should have that number.

BTW, Main Streeter, the extra show is usually at 11 or 11:30

I'll be very surprised if a third show does not get added.

They're telling us hotel CMs to be ready to park at K-Lot because they're gonna be putting guests in Simba. Fortunately for me I'm on at 6:30am so I should still have parking at Zazu or Simba *fingers crossed*. It's gonna suck because a lot of the people I work with whine about the whole shuttle concept, not to mention many of them don't even know how to get to K-Lot, use the shuttle, or get to DLH from the shuttle stop.

Once again, good luck to everyone!

I also forgot to mention that about 10 people from our department, all newbies, got scheduled the special event at Festival Arena. These people can't even find their way around DLH yet (which isn't that hard), so how the heck are they gonna get to Festival Arena?
