So, be warned...if your kid is leashed and they act like a dog...I may just laugh.
I can guarantee you, if I ever see something like that, I WILL laugh, probably very loudly.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Where did I say that I "described using a knife as a weapon to assult a parent and child?" If you actually read what I orginally said, I said, "...if you trip me with your leash, I have a right to cut it." I don't think it would take a rocket scientist to figure out that I mean the leash and not the stupid parent or innocent kid. And if your leash is wrapped around my body, I guess I could pull a McGyver and reach into my pocket, pull it out, and cut your leash, so that I can free myself. There, I used it as a tool. ;)

Are you still in school, working to get that psych degree, but can't find a job, so you just went back to school? Are you a social worker, working for minimum wage, overworked, underpaid, trying to "help people?" Are you a person that thinks the world is out to get them, and you tell your kids that, because there are "bad people" in the world? Are you a member or greenpeace and peta? Did you buy sheets of plastic and duct tape and build a "safe room" in your house to protect you from the next terror threat?

You also write about getting "...pissed off at idiots that let their screamers wander...” Do you have anger management issues? Were you bullied or victimized when you were younger? Do you carry a knife to acquire status because you experience failures at work, school or other types of social exclusion? Do you carry a knife with the intention to scare or harass? Do you have a substance abuse problem? Have you considered talking to a professional?

^I think, leftcoaster, that is precisely what everyone meant by personal attacks.

Um... whose baby is this? :stork:

look, no matter what you decide to do, just don't hand the leash to a character for a picture!

i have found that for one of my children, the leash is the only way to go out in public when in large groups. he gets a little hyper stimulated and tends to wander. he is the oldest of 5 and i haven't felt the need to "wrangle" the other ones with it, but when you are nursing and he has rather poor listening skills, it's the only way to keep sanity when we are out. now my oldest is a special needs child, so sometimes i have to be creative when logic is not going to calm him or keep him from running in front of a streetcar when he sees mickey or realizes that the candy store is JUST OVER THERE...IF HE COULD ONLY REACH IT!! we don't use is as a primary measure, just a tool. a very helpful tool. of course,it has it's downsides, but we pay attention an try not to be boneheaded. :p:

So... what more do you want me to tell? It's not complicated, it's just stupid.
So basically you guys just found the poor spawn tied to a fence? Did the retard parents try to give any kind of excuse for it?
