hehehe. no. I think that market is saturated right now! I want to just put my Hijinks in the Mouse House on it's own website, no more pop ups, no more ads and I can actually LINK PICTURES#@$

Superwebhost.com is good, but they only offer a flat $20/month plan for unlimited everything.
I have a friend who uses deru.net and says they're awesome. Plus they're cheaper :)
For domain names, I use weblaunching.net. They're a tucows domain reseller, and it's $12/year.

Not to derail this thread all the way back to its original topic (thought that's exactly what I'm doing)...
I like my costume (Indy, women's). The culottes are breezy, the long sleeve blouse keeps the sun off you, and the spats just rule. Everyone should have spats. Seriously. No one cares what color my socks are, and you can barely see my shoes (so, for example, the day I forgot my proper shoes and tossed on a pair of cloth ones... no one ever noticed!). I could do w/out the tie - or at least wish we could keep it tied to like a belt loop like we sometimes do backstage (I can't explain it, but it looks cool and adventurous). The hats are hot (wool), but very flattering, and the guests get a kick out of it.
I like the new Fantasyland costumes, but ick, why more earth tones? Those same shorts in medium blue w/maroon trim would have more resembled the old costume and looked great. New blouses are awesome looking.
"New" Tomorrowland costumes are hideous.
Guest: (walking up to my friend, a TL CM) Do you work here?
TL CM: No, I just got off work at Taco Bell and came in here
Guest: Oh, okay (actually walks away!)

There are no stupid questions.... only stupid guests.
Costumes
OK, I'm totally fine with the DCA-ODV costumes, except for the granny pants. They go up to your chest, i swear! Costuming doesn't appreciate girls with hips and a J.Lo butt, gessh!
Has anyone ever noticed that the DCA-ODV-ers match the trash cans on paradise pier??? coincidence, i think not!
:?

We here at Stupid Guest Tricks would like to take this moment to say that we appreciate hips and a J. Lo butt. That is why we have created this:

Re: Costumes
Let's not forget that those pants are universal to about half of DCA's costumes, plus Main Entrance, Strollers, RT&P, and a couple costumes in DL. Those pants never fit me. I always get 2 sizes bigger than my "normal" size just to feel comfortable.SwtKissez wrote:OK, I'm totally fine with the DCA-ODV costumes, except for the granny pants. Yeah, I think they're trying to say something by matching your costumes to the trash cans. Actually now that I think about it, the Main Entrance and Strollers costumes kinda sorta match the trash cans on the Esplanade. :?
The "new" Fantasyland costumes came out about 3 years ago I think.tabacco wrote:Wait... new Fantasyland costumes? Does anyone have a photo?

Re: Costumes
Do they still have the polyester ski pants for the Matterhorn's everything-but-summer costume? Those things only looked good on girls who were a size 8 or smaller - they showed every lump, bump and dimple if you weren't in good shape...SwtKissez wrote:Costuming doesn't appreciate girls with hips and a J.Lo butt, gessh!
