Stupid payroll trick (in my favor!)

I actually had a payroll trick in my favor too. I originally hired as a CT in June of 2000 and converted to CR in January of 2001. But I kept getting my yearly pay increases in June instead of the following January, when they should have been coming. Finally some time in July of 2002 they caught it. At the time I was making 2 year rate when I should have been making 1 year rate until January of 2003. They dropped me back to 1 year pay until this past January. Luckily they never asked for the money back. I was advised by a union shop steward that they were entitled to ask for the money back, but only within one year. They never asked for it back, and it's been about a year since the error was discovered, so I'm in the clear now.

Heh... I always used to pronounce ETRS as "E-Trash" ;)
