Heh. In the spirit of the bad jokes about these stories, I just thought I'd say that I don't quite read "Guest Relations" the same way anymore. You know where would be a great place to get lucky in Epcot? Once a fellow custodian showed me a door to the old ride in The Living Seas. It's dar...

For the record, this was supposed to be a reply to another post and not a thread of its own. My bad!

Mansion_boi, that story is the kind I read far too rarely, which is not to say I'd like to see more terminally ill children around, but that I'd like to see more of us being able to touch their lives. That was truly beautiful and I commend you. It's the kids who definitely give you the sweetest remi...

they're everywhere!

One of my college program roommates and I used to joke about the ghetto Magic Kingdom cats all the time. Oh to be a fly on the wall when those big suckers come out at night. I wonder if the third shift custodial and maintenance crew names them or something.

That's pretty funny. But then, on my last Disney trip I had a half-dozen people ask me questions as if I worked there. Three of my roommates from the college program and I went back this past New Year's for a reunion trip. One of my roommates in particular and I kept being approached by guests with...

Oh man, I almost wish I had a custodial story as ridiculous as the one the female custodian related to you! I just used to get really ticked when I'd see mothers and their children exit the stalls and the children head straight for the sinks to start washing their hands, and the mothers would say &q...

I got asked if I work there at least twice. I never understood how.

I mean, I was custodial! My costume was everywhere! I carried a pan and broom 98% of the time! Are you kidding me!?

My favorite part about encountering kids was during my first few months working on the college program when the frogs were still very little and hopping all over the place, particularly near areas with water. When I was a kid, I was constantly chasing and catching frogs, so when I was on stage I'd c...

Ewww, yeah, I see that all the time on the RR: parents completely ignoring the "please place smaller passengers in the middle" and letting their kids sit, dangle, dance, squirm, etc. on the end, inches from a potentially bad accident. Hell, I'm fully grown and I don't like sitting on the e...
