Re: "Tonight on Dateline NBC...."
Last month at Stormalong Bay there was a little girl of about 9-10 in just a bathing suit bottom in line for the pirate ship slide. My own kids (13 and 7) were pretty stunned at the sight.

Re: Dear Parents ...
Situation 2 Mickey is happily singing autographs and taking photos at Animal Kingdom when a Make a Wish family waits patiently at the exit to be back door-ed into the big cheese's kiosk. As he steps up to greet the guests of honor, this monstrosity came out of a mother's mouth: Mom to MAW family: &...

Re: Why take your kids?
The only time I use a cell phone in the parks is to coordinate meeting with the rest of my group, to make a last minute dining reservation, or to take a photo. I have a friend who calls me all the time when I am on vacation (doesn't she realize that I am also on vacation from her?!?) and I never ans...

Re: The Worst of the Worst SG's
I am beyond astonished about these people. I've read a lot of the stories posted by CMs about the SGs they encounter but I honestly have never been as totally floored as I am by these stories. I think the board needs a new category for guests who behave as Wallaby described because "SG" si...

Re: The First Time's The Best Time
DH and I went in November, 1988. It wasn't his first time, as he'd spent part of his growing up years in Florida, but it was mine. My first time was SUPPOSED to be 10 years earlier, but the Blizzard of '78 hit Boston and my parents never did re-book it. We went again in 2000, taking our then 4 year ...

Re: Freebies along with your meal
When we made our reservations for my birthday dinner last year, we asked that it be noted for that particular meal. As it turned out, they noted it for ALL of the table service meals we had for the week. We did NOT ask for that, it just happened. My point in posting this is just that it does happen ...

Re: Beating up the Characters
We were waiting for pictures with Mickey Mouse at his Toontown pavilion and someone ahead of us in line thought it would be funny to yank on Mickey's ear. Mickey pointed to the exit repeatedly and refused to pose with that party. The party thought he was kidding, but he wasn't. A handler had to get ...
