Re: What not to ask a monorail pilot or say while in the cab...
Questions: 1) Do you like your job? 2) How long have you worked here? 3) Do you get paid well? -or- How much do you get paid? (Like it's your business. I was raised bring told never to ask this question as it's not my business.) 4) Have there been any accidents? 5) Has one of these ever fallen off ...

Re: Front Cab Rides: A Right or a Privledge?
I always treat the front cab as a privilege and not a right. I have emptied the front cab before, and not felt guilty about it either. I was driving the resort loop (as usual) A family of eight wanted to board the front cab at the Contemporary, we explained that only four could go. They kept insisti...

Re: 600 Volts Will Teach Him English Right Quick
Unfortunately, this is the problem with the companies mentality. At the transportation and ticket center, when the platform is wet because it was hosed down. The cast there push water in the trough on to a hot beam. The company says it is safe. But just because no one has gotten fried over it, does ...

Seriously though, 4 adults and two 2-year olds work out? We're planning a trip to the World this year with some friends (details on a trip to SoCal is also in the works) and I'm just curious.
Only four even if they are a carrier 4 is the magic #. We will not accept even an infant more

Re: Question for the Monorail Pilots out there...
We thanked him and sat in the back (no sgts this time) but i am sure i have seen more than 4 in front before. At one time we had more room to play with the 4 people up front policy. where it comes from is the weight limit of the cab. It would only support the weight limit of 4 adults. So if there w...

I agree with you. My wife has been fighting for her disability for 5 years now. My wife doesn't fake anything about her condition, and she still waits, while people like this get around the system. It is really dis heartening.mechurchlady wrote:Sad that the scufflaws get the money that truly disabled need.

The concept of "one park" was well beyond him, let alone "Enter" and "Exit" (which I think I learned on "Sesame Steet"). ! There is a sign on a gate at the Contemporary Resort monorail station. The sign reads in big bold letters TO MONORAILS -------> Yes it e...

Re: "I Didnt Run Half Way Across the Park For This!"
he hops onto the train, slams his lapbar down, and proceeds to go "Now what, huh?" Ugh. Thanks to your actions, now we have to call security, hold the train because you jumped in, and escort you out of the park. We do, he whines and cries, blah blah blah. Security kicks him off while he c...

LOL, no, I mean that DL Monorail pilots only gets to wear long pants, no shorts. I asked my HISTA lead, who also works monoriail, and he said that it is part of their costume. To me, it doesn't quite makes sense. No, it doesn't make sense. Years ago they had a summer attire and a winter attire. The...

Re: Question for the Monorail Pilots out there...
My family and I went to WDW last year and rode up front almost every time (I think there was one time we did not). We just like to sit back and enjoy the ride. My kids are very well behaved and just like to enjoy the view rather than pestering the poor driver with questions (they know s/he has a jo...
