I'm not the only one???? I can't tell you why but I find that facinating too and the fact that they still work that well after all these years!

The only high point of driving MK ES at close is watching the monorails come back to the barn.

That was our favorite Bus Driving marsupial.

I too would like to run the monorails some day but I can't live on attraction pay (then again I can't live on bus driver pay either)

When I get rich and famous, I'll transfer to monorails.

Ah, I see! That makes it much, much more clear, my friend.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Obviously you are entitled to your feelings of what you feel is annyoing. But asking someone how long they worked somewhere and if they like the job seems fairly innocuous. Why does that bother you? Yes I understand you are asked that frequently, but so what, whoever is asking is probably just trying to be friendly.

I tend to agree with almost all of the posts here regarding SGT, but this one I disagree with. People who come to where I work ask how long I have been here and if Ilike my job all the time, it's fairly common at any place of business.

1) Do you like your job?

3) Do you get paid well? -or- How much do you get paid? (Like it's your business. I was raised bring told never to ask this question as it's not my business.)
4) Have there been any accidents?
5) Has one of these ever fallen off the beam?
6) Do you actually steer this?
7) What is that loud beeping sound? (Over-speed alarm)
8) Why are you ignoring us? (While Monorail Central is relaying important information over the radio.)
9) Are you really driving?

Things People Say or Do:

1) Stand over your shoulder for the entire trip with a video camera.
2) 304, 305, 306, 307, 308 (Little kids counting pylon numbers).
3) Switcing out people from back to front, which is not permitted, while on the Resort Line.

-If I missed anything, let me know.
1)
I usually turn the questions back onto the guests, like Where do you work? do you like what you do? you get paid well there? You ever crashed your car? Where do you live? I mean street address. When kids start the number game as in above (304, 304 , 305) I confuse them by staring a random set of numbers. while they are going 305, 306, 307, I would say 16, 42, 23, 216, Watch the looks on their face! Standing over my shoulder is NOT allowed. I wont move the train if someone is standing in my cab. But I will switch out from the back to the front As long as it is the same family, and it is only a one to one switch.

"So what's it like to drive a bus?"

"Have you met Mickey?"

"Can this train take me to Universal/Seaworld/Busch Gardens?"

"Tell me about the monorail expansion."

"We're only here to pool hop at the Poly."

"Do you mind if I smoke?"

"Have you ever caught anyone 'doing it'?" ;) "Would it be alright if my bf/gf/wife/husband and I 'did it' here?"

"What time do you get off work?"

We know these are automated and you're here just to open the doors at the next stop, so can you hold the camera while bf/gf/wife/husband and I "do it" here, be sure to get some close ups...

So that's when you look directly in to the camera and pick your nose, make sure you show it to the camera. If it's Christmas time. try to get a nice big green and red one.

I will say that I am more than happy to answer questions; even the repetitive ones. Heck, I was that Guest asking all sorts of questions when I was younger. In this post, I am mainly shocked at the nature of some of the questions our Guests ask, especially from kids.
