Re: Roy E. Disney Will Not Be Down For Breakfast
Thank you Roy for keeping Walt's legacy and vision alive. Anyone else concerned for Disney's future path with Roy's passing? Roy seemed, at times, to be the only one keeping the corporation from becoming just another "big business." It seems to be slipping away from Walt's true vision more...

Re: Going to DL in a few weeks....
Hi everyone!! Well, still in Anaheim but done with my Disney time :( Thanks to everyone for their suggestions - I was able to hit everything I really wanted to get to plus most suggested locations. Big kudos to Zazu for recommending Golden Dreams - that was really quite moving!! Screamin' and Grizzl...

Going to DL in a few weeks....
Hi folks, Okay, so this WDW CM is going to DL for the first time since she was four only a few scant weekends from now. Beyond it being way smaller than WDW and that Space Mountain and Splash Mountain are very different, there is little that I know about DL or DCA. So, I am calling on your fine CMs ...

Hmmm...maybe we should share this with other boards that shall remain nameless? As a hotel person, I can tell you he's dead on!! :)

Club Level Kiddies (and SG Parents)
Hi everyone...so right now I'm actually here as a guest as opposed to a CM, and due to my husband's job we're staying on club level (for those of you not from resorts, its like a concierge level) at a resort that shall remain nameless. :) Honestly, the SG level is pretty low right now, but there is ...

Re: CM's that got fired.
I have a couple fun ones aside from the usual attendance tardies! 1. CM fired for using profanity in a meeting...with a MAJOR client, resort managers, and executive leaders present. 2. CM fired for stealing other CMs lunches in the breakroom. 3. CM fired for um, "utilzing company resources"...

Re: Guests That Want Special Treatment
Same thing happened at my old location (WDW resorts front desk) with a man who claimed to have been working at ground zero during 9/11....he came to our front desk in September of 2004 and quite literally demanded an upgraded room and concierge access because of working at ground zero three years pr...

Re: Year of a Million Problems
I'm just wondering how many guests will ask for a night in Cindy's castle as compensation for some inane non-issue that "ruined" their vacation

The stories you can tell....
I'm shocked too that there aren't more stories from the resorts. Here are just a few of the highlights of my time in hotels....although there are too many to mention, here are my top 5 SG/horror/just plain odd stories. 1. WALKS!!! The pure joy of telling a family who saved a lifetime to stay at one ...

Re: Rollerskates, barefeet, no smoking, exits and all that jazz!!
I had slight "poetic justice" on those d*mn skating shoes last year. I had a kid going nuts on them in the hotel lobby (you should see how those things mark up polished wood floors!) just skating around annoying other guests. I politely told him that for his own safety I needed him to stop...
