Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Yes, so now what? I doubt that at almost 80 miles per hour anyone is going to google to see if it's has correct spelling. Why waste tax money on something no one is paying that much attention too. Maybe they could spend it on some proof reading lessons.hhsrat wrote:

I'm debating on off your grammar was intentional and if your spelling error was on purpose or not. Funny, if it was.Goofyernmost wrote:Yes, so now what? According to the article the sign company is paying to correct the sign, not the taxpayers.Goofyernmost wrote:Yes, so now what? The Port and the Cape are neighbouring but separate places. The Port is where the cruise ships come in while the Cape is the city and home of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Kennedy Space Center.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Re: Stupid sign-painter tricks
Same thing happened here years ago. The state or city put out bids for signs for the new Barraza highway. Some company in Portland (I think) got the job. All the signs came back spelled 'Tuscan'.
Ended up costing more than if they had the signs done locally.
