Many thanks from our Prince Philip and Prince Charming!

Post by gmw111 » Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:50 am

Hi all!

First and foremost, I have to tell you how much I've enjoyed lurking on this board. I spent quite awhile reading old threads and making sure that on our most recent trip we didn't become fodder for the board. :)

After our last trip, I wanted to finally post and say a big thank you to all of the CMs who do such a great job in making our visits to WDW so magical. This year, my boys dressed up as Prince Philip (forest costume) and Prince Charming for both MNSSHP and breakfast at the castle. We had more guests than I can count say "awwww....what a great Prince Charming" to our four year old and then turn to our eight year old blankly and say "who are you?". I was beginning to regret our costume choice for him until we ran into fantastic CMs who recognized him and made him feel like the coolest prince around. He got to hunt for Malificent at MNSSHP with Aurora and her Philip and he had a gift shop CM bow to him. His attitude climbed from "why did we pick Prince Philip" to "I love my costume!!!" There were more CMs than I can count who made kind comments to both of the boys and I appreciate it more than you know. I have no idea if any of the CMs who made our boys feel so special are on here- but regardless a big thanks to you all. I'm sure the stupid guests (and even the smart ones who have stupid moments) make your job trying at times. But the magic you create with your hard work is appreciated by many of us.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Awww! It sounds like they where both adorable and had a wonderful time!

It's always worth it when the magic is there and alive for children :)

Apparently a lot of people either haven't seen Sleeping Beauty or slept through that awesome battle scene. Such a pity. Then again, a lot of parents refer to princesses by their movie title. "Look honey, it's BRAVE!"

:mwc: gmw111 !!

Since you know what comes next, I assume you dressed accordingly, and covered yourself in Vaseline.

Good luck!

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that...

Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

Its stories like this is why I love what I do.

The Halloween parties are one my all time favorite times to work. I love seeing how creative get with the costumes. Sometimes people amaze me in good ways.

Greetings gmw111, I am the resident dragon and would like to offer you a very warm* welcome to that slice of the internet we call SGT. This website contains threads with quick twists and turns and I would like to advise you to not try too hard to keep up with them. Please keep your hands, arms, and legs safely inside the website at all times and enjoy your stay.

*this instance of warm is actually hot**... very hot

**this instance of hot means that you are now literally on fire, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience
