Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Nice execpt for when they annonnoce over the pa, you realize the preshow is really on monitors instead of you looking thru windows. I would have done it with a animated segment making them look like they are paused and looking at the guests and each other while waiting for the pa to stop. computers are fast enoght where they could have had the show jump to a pause routine in a milasecond. or even a pause on the pa which pauses the main video and jumps to the pause video routine then lets the pa come on. heck they could have had the whole cast knock it out in a few hours. poor show universal.

Sadly, that appears to be the only part that could be considered a "poor show". Everything else seems to have trumped Disney once again. Entertaining and funny and different. Wake up Disney...the new kid is reaching puberty!drcorey wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Zdb6cyIddI

They did, unless you get stopped, then it is out of sequence. Worked flawlessly on our 2nd ride.drcorey wrote:Yeah, the whole world is watching.

Sorry, I'm referring to the East Coast. Universal is hardly the new kid out in Hollywood way. But truth be known, I still think that the Universal Backlot Tour in Hollywood gives even Disneyland a bit of a trump. You've heard of One Mans Dream, well that is One Mans Opinion. :)ktulu wrote:Meh, two words. Cars Land!

Have you seen the fast and the furious dancing cars on that tour? That alone ruins the whole thing.Goofyernmost wrote:Sorry, I'm referring to the East Coast. Re: Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem
I didn't think Despicable Me was that great a movie or even fared THAAAT well at the box office... That is, not well enough to merit an attraction, at least not this soon.
