I'm not Saying It's the Start of the Zombie Apocalypse...

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

but when a dude bites another dudes face off and then doesn't react to getting shot, perhaps we should consider it.
"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Pardon me while I have a Hobie moment:

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

If I was the guy on the left I would have gotten another man hole cover to work with.

I've seen the real one in a Museum in Mexico city. The back is an unfinished flat surface if I remember correctly.

The Mayan calender goes WELL beyond the 2012 long-count date. To being with, it was suppose to be 12/24/12 as Frank Coe read it, the calender they are using was read incorrectly in 1957 and later the "New Age" folks picked up on it in the 70's turning it into an "End of The World" scenario. A re-reading of the calender and modern finds of other, more complete calenders prove that the B'ak'tun's go well beyond the 13th B'ak'tun date (12/21/12) as now they believe this date on the B'ak'tun would be much akin to our New Years Eve/Day.Zazu wrote:Has anyone thought to check if there's more dates written on the back?
Oldest Mayan Calender- No Doomsday
Anthroplogy strikes again. Then again the head of our Physical Anth department does a lot of Mesoamerica work, so it's been drilled into our skulls after about three minutes.
Besides, we all know it's really...

As for Zombies. It depends what KIND of zombies we're going to be dealing with. Are they the slow, stupid zombies? Are they the fast, smart zombies? Some combination of the two (Fast/Stupid or Slow/Smart)? Oh well, I've had my Zombie Survival Plan in place for years now. Besides, it'll kill off most of the dumber of the human species!
Just remember, Don't use fire. Now you just have a flaming zombie! ;)
