Details about what we should expect from the Test Track redesign are finally emerging.

Disney announced Friday that the popular attraction, Walt Disney World's longest and fastest, will close in April for several months as the ride gets rebranded and retooled.
The new attraction will feature what's being dubbed the "Chevrolet Design Center at Epcot."
"Guests will become automotive designers and create their own vehicles. Next, they'll buckle into a six-person SimCar ride vehicle and test out their design on the challenging track of the Test Track course," said Disney's Jennifer Fickley-Baker.
Despite the term "SimCar," Disney assures fans that the ride will still be an actual ride experience, not a simulator (a la Star Tours, for instance).
The attraction makeover will put General Motors' Chevrolet brand front and center. GM is the sponsor of the attraction. The company renewed a partnership with Disney for the makeover, the two companies announced Friday.
The updated attraction is scheduled to open sometime in the fall.

I guess that I am unable to imagine what the changes will be like. The ride end, where the actual automobiles are shown has already changed over to all Chevy as of 3-31-2013, when I went through it. What does everyone think will be different and how?

From the article, and personally experiencing some refurbishments of other rides like Space Mountain, I would expect a more interactive experience for the guests.

It won't have the DeLorean that takes you one year into the future? :D:

I haven't been on Test Track for years. Never really did all that much for me. Guess I'll have to check it out the next time I go (which is likely in 2013 at this point, so unless the rehab goes like the original installation should be safely after it reopens :D: )
