Two more weeks!!!!

Hello, all!!! I am sorry I have been gone for so long. Did anyone send out a search party? Now I'm depressed.....

Anyway....I just have not had the time to hop on even for a few minutes to keep up with everything. At the beginning of August, I had to let one of my assistants go. Needless to say, that means I take on the brunt of the work. Which is fine, I'm happy to save the company money, I just don't have any spare time at work any more. And then school started and with that comes the multitude of activities that the kids are involved in.

BUT......

I have two weeks until I get to have an actual vacation. I still don't know what I am going to do with myself; I've never had a non-working vacation before (well, years and years and years ago maybe). So, this is exciting!!! Two weeks from right this moment, I will have just stepped on to Disney property.

I think even hubby is getting excited at this point. Of course, he'll be doped up on Xanaz a lot of the time, but it should still be fun, right? :D: (oh...and I have got to tell you guys about his oral surgery last week!!! :) ).

Just had to share....now back to inputting payroll. Have a great day!

I had a root canal and a crown reseated last Thursday by a former Jungle Cruise skipper, assisted by a former CPer. What's he got?

It's ancient history now, but my record in the chair was 3 complete root canals, crown preps, and temp crowns fitted in one sitting. 4 1/2 hour dental appointment. And it was just one of many. When I :D: a lot of what you see isn't original.

And I meant Xanax.....sorry. Guess I was too excited to type properly.

He had all four wisdom teeth out. The doc and nursing staff were nervous about him not wanting general anesthia because of his anxiety. But....well, we really didn't have the extra $500 to spare for it.

So, hubby took three xanax by the time we got to the dentist's office by 8am!!!

At the end of the procedure, he was leaning on me to "walk" and I had a devil of a time getting him to the car. I think I knocked him in to the walls once or twice. Ah, well....I don't think I hurt him too bad.

He was just so out of it. I told him in no uncertain terms, that I was not going to carry his rear off the plane like that, so he best only take two xanax at most.

Packing is done (I have OCD....if I could have, I would have been done packing over a month ago). I am trying to get a better rate on a rental car, but I think I am going to have to stick with what I have.

I do have to remember that I am leaving my office. It is not coming with me. If I don't want to, I don't have to check emails (and I most certainly don't have to respond!). I'l probably pop on once a day, though, maybe when the kids are getting their showers at the end of the night.

have missed you!

so glad to hear about your vacation and hope the hubby can manage with out his vitamin X. wisdom teeth removal is no joke and don't get me started on oral/maxillofacial surgery...you know the year I had last year...8 of the 15 surgeries i had between 09 and beginning of this year were of that sort (those alveolectomies after failed bone grafts are no fun.) My heart goes out to the poor guy (and you having to take care of him too that's not fun either.) Hope he's all better soon (look out for those dry sockets! he has to keep food out of those surgery sites! and as much of a pain as they are, the salt rinses DO help once your doc clears him to do them! Okay, sorry, end rant...)

hope you have a PERFECT vacation and i can't wait to hear about it!
