Fort Wilderness

Hope someone can explain this one. I'm a SG :D.

We are going back to Florida next year. the last time we went was in 2007.
You guys really work hard but it is funny some of the things I saw last time I was there.

We were just finishing up in Pioneer Hall in Disney's Fort Wilderness and went for a stroll in the petting area with the animals. The silly thing is the signs when you get in there say no petting the animals. Never did figure this one out :D :D :D

Those were provided courtesy Disney's Legal Department. Nobody really expected guests to not pet the animals, but having those signs up all around made it much harder for SGs to sue when they got bitten.

Sadly, the regulations of the AZA that were put into effect due to Animal Kingdom obliged Disney to close the petting zoo and change how they handled the petting area at AK. Nothing left but the big horsies and the tiny horsies.

The AK petting zoo? You mean those three stomached goats at the conservation station? I got shanghaied in there by a CM on the basis of these amazing three stomached goats... I guess they were having a slow day or something... "Yes but our goats are SPECIAL!!!"

You mean those goats were missing a stomach? I'm not a veterinarian, nor do I play one on T.V. or elsewhere for that matter, but all ruminants, like goats, have four stomachs. Well, actually they just have one, it's divided up into four chambers. Each one breaks their food down a little better than the previous one, until it can move on to the intestines.
