There was another story from today that said a girlfriend ran over her boyfriend with a car just because he insulted her mother.

I don't know, we have a woman Secretary of State, we've had women Federal judges, women governors, etc.--they all seem to keep the PMS monster at bay. I mean, do you think they would've gotten elected if they didn't?

Lorena Bobbit cut her husband around the third anniversary of the abortion she felt he'd bullied her into - she accused him of rape and domestic abuse, as did another fiance and wife later. According to her defense team, "Lorena felt as though her abortion had left her sexually mutilated, and she blamed John for making her have it. That she chose to attack John’s sexuality, not his life, indicates that Lorena was subconsciously choosing to retaliate in kind." I have friends who have flashbacks and get pretty erratic on the anniversaries of their abuse, but not quite to that level of violence. :p:

Lorena Bobbit was my first thought when I read this -- because it always astonished me that they managed to patch John back up after all that. Apparently this lady wasn't about to let that happen.
