Anthony Daniels talks Star Tours...

Post by Disneyguy85 » Fri Apr 08, 2011 1:31 am

Here is a very interesting interview with Anthony Daniels about the new Star Tours and his experiences working on it;

http://herocomplex.latimes.com/2011/04/ ... sney-ride/

"The new and improved Star Tours attraction at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida will be a force to be reckoned with, including 54 “truly amazing” variations that give riders an ever-changing experience, according to Anthony Daniels, the actor who portrayed C-3PO in the “Star Wars” films and revisits the role for the theme-park attraction."

Cool article! But this:
Daniels has (in body and/or in voice) inhabited the role of the persnickety protocol droid in all seven theatrically released “Star Wars” feature films.
Seven? Did I miss one? :D:

To me, it seems kind of poetic that Star Tours at Disneyland will be re-opening almost a year after it closed.

I think its pretty cool that they were already well into the development of the new ride long before it closed. Which does make sense considering all of the film and CGI elements that ILM and Imagineering needed to do.
