Do You Have T-Mobile? Not for much longer!

Post by Freak » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:08 pm

T-Mobile, assimilate. Resistance is futile.

So it'll be AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. Until Verizon buys AT&T and Sprint. Then we're doomed.

Verizon also has the priciest plans/features/phones I've ever dealt with. Even AT&T, who nickels and dimes you, doesn't stack up to Verizon price wise.

That's why I keep it simple. Except for the 'not often enough' texts to MS,I don't mess with it.

I've had no real problems with Verizon in the last 9 yrs. I check my acct OL often just in case. There have been many OMG issues this last month but I've learned calling @ least 3 times daily is a solution. No dept. is alike & no rep will tell a caller the same thing - oh well. :( Verizon is great when bonus minutes are needed, often drop charges, & give free services if the situation warrents. Their insurance has been great for me. The longer one is with Verizon & the more lines on plan seems to help also. As far as Verizon cells, I don't find them pricey. Most quality cells are high. Freak, Don't Forget Your Disney 20% Discount.darph, Verizon has a TXT plan ya know. ;)

I'm not 100% sure it will be approved...

I hope it doesn't, because if so I really think the Android phone market will take a severe hit... T-Mobile puts out some really good Android handsets. AT&T locks them down and makes them almost useless since they sell the iPhone and they don't want any phone outshining it. If T-MO is removed from the game, there's not a big reason to front Android anymore. Sprint will since they don't have the iPhone, but AT&T isn't too excited about that platform. Verizon and Android are pretty cool, but AT&T hasn't released one unmodified Android device yet. They probably won't either.

The Motorola Backflip (or Backflop as I call it) was AT&T's first Android handset...and it was a miserable failure... Thank the iPhone for that.

The funny thing is I remember when the "Bells" were split up because they were said to have a monopoly. Now we're moving back to allowing AT&T do become the new Bell. Of course, I'm not complaining, it sure is helping my stock. :p:
