Characters Aboard the Disney Cruise Ship

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I always felt that it was so serendipitous that when people take a Disney Cruise, the Disney characters also happen to be taking a cruise at the same time. ;)

Not only that, but they just happened to be visiting Walt Disney World from their home at Disneyland, every time I've been there...

Or so the video on the Magical Express told me....

X^D

I know one thing...I sure wish I had access to the transportation system that Mickey does. That Dude is everywhere. He must have an unbelievable amount of frequent flyer miles.

Ooh, I like that idea!

Perhaps there is even a series of underground bullet trains!

It's really a combination of the three :D: , not to mention copious amounts of pixie dust, and some odd bending of the space-time con...I've said too much

Though one can make sense of CM wages in that light. Can you imagine how maintaining such a system costs?!

I seem to recall someone posting here once about a great scientific explanation given in response to a child's question about why Mickey doesn't talk when you meet him. It was explained that Mickey and the other characters have access to a time machine, so they can spend the day in one park, then go back in time to the beginning of the day and meet people in another park, and so on. Mickey chooses not to speak because you might have met him in the morning at his park #3 and then see him in the afternoon at his park #1 -- it's your second time to meet him that day, but his first, and he doesn't want to give away that he doesn't remember you!

"This would be a great place if we could only get rid of all these people." - Walt Disney
