parades

ok anyone who has ever done main street parades knows that guests can be a pain in the ass when they want the west side to get to adventureland, and you need the one way into the park to go east, and then after the pyro you slit the street, and toontown is working the huband the area directly behind you. mow is it just me, or do toontowners just not have a clue? everyone on mainstreet is waiving those cones, plucking people headed south out of the people going north... and they've decided it's time to go group, and be done. NO! it isn't! did your lead say put out the cones let's head back? No! i would have seen him do it!

and then they look at you like you're insane when you look to your left and say "hey mind jumping in here, i've got a bit of a hole, and it's not time to group by the lamp yet." oh yeah that's right, they don't go backstage and converse, they stand right there and talk while they watch the pretty cones go by... damn, isn't that nice of them?

If anyone from toon town is reading this, BE OFFENDED, my opinion of you is lower than my opinion of DCA (which is more of a joke than anything) but honestly, i've not seen anyone less compotent at their job than you guys, wave the light until the lead says to get backstage, and don't give mainstreet flack when they ask why you've stopped helping, and started grouping. go back to oreintation, get a clue, do something!

sorry, 3 days of gso, will make you frustrated, maybe i don't want to be a lead...

Actually, I do work in Toontown, and I don't want this to be a flame war, but I will say that I have never seen a single Toontown person stop before the lead tells them to. If you're basing this off of one or two nights working the Main Street split then you probably saw a few bad apples, and you shouldn't judge all of Toontown on that.

Also, how would you like it when you're scheduled to work your attraction and at the end of that have to go work GC. We don't get a choice in doing the fireworks GC, it's part of our shift, we don't get the choice to preference working it or not we just have to wait until we have the seniority to get earlier shifts (which I do now, thank god)

Also, Polar and Cujo I really am not trying to start a flame war, if you think this will start one (or if it does) I sincerely apologize and please delete it. :)

*sniff* Can't we all just get along? *sniff*

I feel both of you guys. Everyone needs to get stuff off their chests every once in a while. It's all good. And if anyone in Toontown is offended after reading that first post, you probably weren't the ones being talked about. That's how it always is isn't it?

Just push the offenders into the parade. I'm sure somebody will get a high kick in the head, or be forced to wear those ridiculous cloud overalls, or some other karmic occurance.
:D
