"Mitch Miller, the baton-wielding host of the “Sing Along With Mitch” television show who promoted performers such as Tony Bennett and Rosemary Clooney, has died. He was 99.

He died July 31 in Manhattan after a short illness, the New York Times reported, citing his daughter, Margaret Miller Reuther. ....."

He was great. I used to watch his show in the 60's with my mom and dad. Very entertaining.

Be kind to your web footed friends
For a duck may be somebody's mother
Be kind to your friends in the swamp
Where the weather is very very domp
Now you may think that this is the end
Well it is...

Isn't it comical how we can remember stuff like the ending song for Mitch Millers Sing along show and yet it's so easy to misplace car keys. There is something wrong with that, I think.

I remember that we always used to watch him.

in fact, if he had still been on, the american idol show wouldn't have worked, because a lot of parents would have heard their snowflake sing and realize that they should not encourage them to seek employment in the vocal music profession!
