They should put instructions on these things!
Epcot. Broad daylight. An SG walks up to a trash can with a piece of trash in one hand. What could go wrong, right?
He looks at the side facing him, which has a flap. He walks around to the side which doesn't, and tries to push the trash through the steel side. Doesn't work.
He then walks around to the opposite side, which also doesn't have a flap, and tries to push his trash through that steel side. Doesn't work either.
Finally, he tips the can away from the wall it's next to, discovers a flap on that fourth side, and throws his trash at it. Not being heavy trash, the flap doesn't open. Trash falls to the ground between can and wall. He puts the can back down on top of the trash. It does not sit level because of the trash.
Walking away, he is heard to say to his party, "They should put instructions on these things!"
I knew this sort of trouble would happen when they started to replace the flaps with the embossed "PUSH" with plain flaps, but do they ever listen to the likes of me?

Wow. Just wow.
Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

Are you sure this person was sober? That sounds like something a drunk would do! If not, that is just scary--our nation is becoming a country of morons! Reminds me of a story I once read in a children's magazine long ago--people were born smart, and got progressively less smart as they grew older. Not only that, but their last names were colors, and you had to wear clothes of your color, live in a house of your color, drive a car of your color, etc..

With my luck I'd end up with Zolatone.felinefan wrote:Not only that, but their last names were colors, and you had to wear clothes of your color, live in a house of your color, drive a car of your color, etc..

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

oh god, that reminds me of the most embarrassing experience I had at the MK on my trip there last summer.
I only went in for a very short time my first night to see Main Street- to have a moment of silence in the MK (you guys know why) and I knew I desperately needed to eat something- I hadn't eaten in days.
So I tried a few french fries from Caseys but I just couldn't do it. I couldn't swallow them past the lump in my throat.
So I walk up to a trash can with almost a full pack of fries- and mind you I was still mostly blind at the time. The lights on MS were all skewed and so I misjudged the distance- the flap on the trashcan snapped back at me, and the fries went flying.
There was an older couple standing there- I swear they thought I did it on purpose. I grimaced and said "this is what happens when they let blind people go out alone'. I bent down and started feeling around on the ground, trying to pick up the fries and both of them threw a fit. "They have people for that! Look one is coming right now!" (There was a vacuum guy coming up the street behind us) They actually took me by the arms and made me stop.
Then the woman told me to turn over my hands and squirted hand sanitizer into them LOL. I had flashbacks to being five again.
Maybe the person with this trash can had low vision.
Or maybe he was a complete moron!
