Really 7 pages about a Bear!

Post by giggles » Fri Jul 02, 2010 6:13 am

OK so there is a 7 page thread on anonymous board on whether Lotsu should be a meet and greet at DHS. Apparently he is far too scary for many little snowflakes and because of that Disney should pull the plug. How about you don’t hop in he is line if you know little Jimmy is going to cry and wet his pants because of the scary bear. Do not get me wrong he was a very sinister character but really all of this because it may scare YOUR child. My children while not a fan of the bad bear are dying to meet him and get their picture taken with this evil bear. I can imagine come of the email complaints some of these people are sending to Disney about this because apparently the know more about what is best for WDW company then people hired to work there.

OK, please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure whether this site is the best way to vent your frustration from "the other board". Those of us that are guests (rather than CMs) come here to listen to first-hand SG stories or to share our own experiences or just to come and have fun with people of the same mindset. While I agree that a 7 page thread does constitute some SG behavior, I don't really think we need continued updates and play-by-play regarding the other board. If you really want to vent, write it on your status on your FB page or start a blog.

Now, regarding Lotso: yes, he is a villain, but you know what? so are the stepmother and the stepsisters, Cpt. Hook & Mr. Smee and the Queen of Hearts. Yet each of them has meet and greets and people line up to see them (I know we would LOVE to meet the Queen of Hearts, the one time we were in line to see her, it was very hot and humid and she began to feel dizzy & unwell so her attendant took her to her chambers).

(PS - as you can tell from some of the posts here, a lot of us actually do read the other board so the continued updates really are redunant)

My DS thought the step-sisters were hot. His exact quote was "These are supposed to be the UGLY step-sisters???!! They're HOT!!" We thought it was pretty hilarious.

LOL Only my daughter was able to meet them (well, the baby too) cause my DS was not feeling well that day (he had spent the previous night throwing up). They spent so much time with her; it was great! And the stepsisters did try to come over and talk to Quinn, but he was having none of it!

And, I agree, they actually are pretty attractive, but I think their voices make up for it! Boy, do they get into character!

OK, while I have a guess what Board X is, could someone PM me so I know to avoid it in the future? I'd appreciate it.

No need to PM, Board X is any board that we happen to be discussing in a negative light. We try to avoid using the name of the board in these cases because it could reach members of Board X and they come and troll/flame here and we would like to keep that from happening.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

And perhaps we could stop cross polluting our board with the stuff from those other locations?

If I want to hear what SGs are saying on Board A, B, C ....ZZ then I would take the time to look at that board.

I mean isn't it bad enough I have to hear crap like "oh we are from Board A...." in a freaking conversation with a SG? They think my reply of "Yes, we are very aware of Board A" as a good thing.

Then I have to have the conversation of correcting their superior knowledge at great length. Sometimes I am successful; sometimes I know why I am not allowed to have alcohol while at work. Or why Security checks for weapons at Westclock.
