Re: what are some stupid or rude guest stories from the jungle cruise?
I'm not a CM, but I do remember something that I witnessed on Jungle Cruise some years ago;
It was an evening trip through the jungle, and there were these smart-alec, obnoxious people who clearly wanted to prove how "smart" they were. Every joke that the Skipper said, they would say it right along with her. A friend of these people kept telling them to stop, but not in a serious way, they would tell them to stop while laughing about it.
They were clearly giddy about being so annoying. The skipper remained professional and didn't say a word about it and stayed with the script. What she did do was even better, when our boat came over to the natives, she began the line "let me see if I can translate..." And these smart alec people started to say "You put your right foot in..." But they Skipper used the alternate line of "We lost the key to the bathroom."
And their friend who had been telling them to stop laughed at them and said something like "ha ha! She changed it!"
I was very happy when that happened, because in her own little way, she got back at them for being so "smart".

This isn't a stupid or rude guest story. Yesterday I signed in three friends of mine and my husband's, and my husband came in with his new pass. One of the friends is also a Chris, and with my husband there that made two Chris's running around together without me and with me after I got off work.
We went to the Jungle Cruise, and happened to have a Skipper, named Chris. When he asked my husband and our other friend what their names were, they started laughing, causing the skipper named Chris to say that "If you didn't like the Cruise, my name doesn't matter" or something like that.

Re: what are some stupid or rude guest stories from the jungle cruise?
I was on the Jungle Cruise with my then-girlfriend at the time. It was her birthday. The skipper asked if anyone was having a birthday and I pointed at her and she yelled loudly "no it isn't" and I got mocked by the skipper.
When I pointed out to her that it was, in fact, her birthday, she quietly said that she forgot. Yeah.

Coolest captain spiel. The captain tells all the guests to hold hands "come on this is Disneyland you can do it". Then sh takes the hands of the guests on each side of her and says "now I'll take thier fingers and plug them into this power outlet". Lol, SG treatment.

I love you guys for coming up with another Jungle thread :)
Some stupid or rude guest stories? Ha! There's too many to choose from! Ok, this one time pirates broke down and evac'd, Jungle would have everyone freeze in the position their in and everyone that's on break went over to help pirates with the evac handing out re-ads. Anyways, I was frozen on FP greeter, lucky me. So as everyone finally got off pirates with this re-ad which is good for ANY ride, they all head next door to us in the Jungle. You can only imagine what utter chaos and stupidity that would bring with a sudden rush of angry people wanting on a ride immediately, but among all the "How long's this line?" "Why do I have to wait in line, I want on now!" Comes this only lady concerned about her safety. "Sir, is this ride safe?" "Yes ma'am, I assure you all the rides here are safe." "Well, I'll let you know I just got evacuated off one of YOUR rides because it broke down, and I don't feel safe anymore!" And then I go on to tell her we go through this list of checks, and if anything doesn't meet those guidelines, we won't open until they do. In the event something doesn't work right during the day, we stop everything, find the problem, escort the people away and fix it quickly so we can open it back up again, and before we open it again, we go through the same checklist again making sure everything is where it should be. "I just don't know about all that, what if this ride were to break down?" I told her, "Ma'am, is this ride 'broke down' your boat would stop moving forward, that's it. These are real boats with their own engines, if a boat broke down, it'll just stop there, and the skipper will radio in it broke down, you sit there and wait for another boat to tow it through the jungle, and then we take it backstage and fix it. The boat's not gonna sink if it breaks down, you'll be fine." "Oh, I dunno about that . . . Where's the park exit?" "Just up the ramp, to the right, and then when you face the castle, turn around and walk away from it." "Ok!" And she continues onward into the FP line.
