A New Chapter Begins in My Disney Story
About 30 minutes before Shorty82 received his call from Casting, I received mine. By the time I got done texting him about mine, he was receiving his.
I am now 10-7 Monorails, 10-8 Frontierland Attractions.
It is with a heavy heart that I make this transfer. You know what the Monorails meant to me. I leave what I believe to be one of the the best management teams on Disney property, I leave people who I love working with, and of course the trains and the operation. I leave all that because, well, I've talked here about some of the ugliness that has necessarily come from me when guests turn ugly. About three weeks ago, I had an incident with a guest and I realized how much I hated what I became, and the way it stuck with me for a couple hours.
So leaving Monorails is an escape from a combination of guests and certain subject matter. There. I said it.
However, I know that a new adventure awaits, and I look forward to pursuing that. I also have two businesses that I am starting up on the side, my hypnosis show and another sales job. Between the three, I have started burning the candle at both ends and I have cut a notch in the middle and lit that spot too. I am excited about the opportunity this brings. I am also excited to be able to work with other members of this board like CycloneMan, and I have always wanted to work an attraction like a coaster... though even if I get Country Bear Jamboree, I will have a great time.
So while there is a darkness in this transfer, there is also a wonderful light.
It has been a hard, at times painful year... yet in a strange way, I am glad that, if it has to be experienced, I did so with the people I experienced it with. But now, it is time to move on.
I came to Disney World to be a part of the Happiest Place on Earth. I know that I have feared people, feared what they might say and how I might react. Now, even though I go to an area that has had a fatality, at least it's one that I was not personally a part of and frankly, it was not the park's, company's or any Cast Member's fault.
Thank you all for bearing with me as I hashed out some things I have gone through personally. Today, I begin to move on. Today begins a new chapter. Where it will lead I know not. But I do know it will be interesting.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

You'll like Frontierland. You can take performance theming there to heights not possible in other lands. It just ain't possible to be *too* country!
Remind me to tell you how I reacted to news of the death on a certain attraction when asked by guests.
