So, South Australia is filled with SGs?

Just fished this out of the net...

Apparently, the employees believed that the "Guide dog" was a "gay dog" and that he had been neutered to become a gay dog.

 could it be a language / accent barrier... that does seem like a lot of cash for a misunderstanding... though I do agree with the apology.

Desexing an animal doesn't make it gay. Service dogs are desexed so they can focus on their job better. As for the comments, I agree with one of the comments--if they offered a written apology, and Mr. Jolly is blind, is someone going to read it to him or will they put it in Braille? I think the fine was fair. Less than that it would've been a slap on the wrist. I think the staff of that restaurant should be educated. Also, on one of the other comments, do you see that one about how this lady has to educate people where she lives, even though most people in L.A. know better? She got harassed at a Jon's supermarket, for crying out loud. I agree--what is the world coming to?
