10 highest paid CEOs

Post by hobie16 » Mon Apr 05, 2010 9:35 am

9. Bob Iger: $21.6 million

Company: Walt Disney
Cash compensation: $12 million
Stock and options: $9.6 million

Iger's pay package is his lowest since 2006. His performance bonus tumbled by a third, reflecting a 20% drop in earnings and a 4% sales decline as the company struggles to revive its theme parks, where profits have been hit by weak traffic and heavy discounting.

If you want to see his approval rating, go to http://www.glassdoor.com . If you want to see something really interesting, compare Iger to the guy who's CEO of Cedar Fair. Last I looked, that fool had such a low approval rating it's practically underwater. Have fun with the site--check the approval ratings of other company CEOs, etc.. Real eyeopener.

The primary item a CEO is graded on is improving shareholder value via the price of the stock. Everything else is secondary.
