I've seen them at Universal Studios Florida before. Every so often they put one outside of Ripsaw Falls.

Canadas Wonderland has had one for a couple of years, next to the raft ride. I have never tried their water rides, so I can't comment on its effectiveness. However $5 seems expensive to dry oneself. I see a lot of folks just bring a change of clothes and change after getting soaked. Thats what we do at Kali River Rapids.

There's a body dryer by Bigfoot Rapids at Knott's.
The Merchandise dept doesn't like it because it cuts into the sales of T-shirts and towels. :(
