I need help on how to become a monorail pilot
Hello all, My name is Andrew. I am 19 and was wondering what it takes to become a monorail pilot. I am already a pilot, flying has always been a dream of mine, and so has driving the monorails at WDW. However becomming a commercial airline pilot at this time is jsut impossible for me, and so I have been giving serious thought into pursuing my other dream of being a monorail pilot. I have always loved the monorails.. While other kids always ran towards mickey, I always ran towards the monorails.
However I have no clue on how to even start to become a monorail pilot. I am 19 and live in Ohio. If anyone is willing to help me please do so. I have a pilot's license, and now it's time to get a monorail pilot's license haha.
I am serious about this choice and I just have no clue how I can do this.

Wow, another new person, we really are getting a lot recently. I wonder if facebook has anything to do with it. Anyway, I am not the person to talk to about becoming a monorail pilot, but I can be the first to offer you a very warm* welcome to the slice of the internet known as SGT.
*warm in this instance means hot**, extremely hot
**hot in this instance refers to the fact that you are now literally on fire, I apologize for any inconvenience and suggest you take care of that as soon as possible

The only reason I mention facebook as a possibility is because we recently got a facebook group for the site.DragonFox98 wrote:Welcome to the Boards!!!!

A thread on DISBoards a few days ago had a link leading over here, too. I came over to quietly observe and do an anthropological study of Cast Members in their native habitat. ;)Lasolimu wrote:Wow, another new person, we really are getting a lot recently. (Not really, I just like the idea of reading and sharing stories about SGs without wading through the planning threads and the complaints about refillable mugs and not getting towel animals. May I stay? I promise to be good!)
fcsflyboy, I'm sorry I mildly hijacked your thread! I hope someone has an answer for you. I'm curious myself. I wouldn't want to be a Monorail pilot, but it would be interesting to see what qualifications and training are required.

Actual, Andrew comes here by way of my WDW Trainz video on YouTube. We've been talking about collaborating and finishing up the project (at last), and I suggested he check out SGT.
Glad you found your way here!

Ninja, this is too funny. Was just on WDW hotel site booking room & was reminded the 10 yr. old MUST have towel animals. :D: This is a big deal!! All I wish for are the fillable cups & I'm in.Hockey Ninja wrote:refillable mugs and not getting towel animals.

Just call/go online to casting and fill out a job application making sure you put transportation as first choice. Nothing more you can do or need to do.fcsflyboy wrote:I am serious about this choice and I just have no clue how I can do this.
