The view from the top of the castle

Post by delsdad » Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:18 pm

I just found this site, which along with some gorgeous castle photos, has several taken from Tinkerbells launching area at the top of the castle. What a view!

CM transferred to Ca. Is this a good thing for us @ DL? Looking at the round wrought iron on the street I "think" there is a pole within. In other shots I see a grassy area enclosed with wrought iron. Which of these, if either, is the flag pole?. Ya, only I'd ask this.

Yep, he knows what he is doing. He got tired of having to drive around from park to park to do random tasks.

The train station?! Have you ever seen Tinkerbell fly?

The cable goes from the Castle, over the Tomorrowland Noodle Station and ends at a backstage tower where Tink lands. I don't know if it would be possible for a cable to stretch as far as the train station and still be able to carry the weight or have the necessary angle to keep her moving. There's also nowhere around the train station she could land without being seen by thousands of guests.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Would kinda ruin the illusion if Tink did a face-plant into the side of the building.

Great! Now I keep picturing Tink doing the Daffy Duck "Yoiks and away! Splat! Yoiks and away! Splat!"

Kind of like George of the Jungle.

I understand (based on the KTTK tour) that some of those Tinkerbells can curse up a storm if they don't make it all the way to the end and have to pull themselves in. Of course, this would be mostly out of earshot of the Guests, but it's almost within Tinkerbell's slightly hot-tempered character :p:
