It is now official

Post by disneyprincess1988 » Sat Mar 06, 2010 4:24 pm

Yesterday, I received something that I now truely treasure: My 1 year service pin. That's correct, I have been an official WDW CM for 1 year and I am quite happy with my current role. I was even more honored to celebrate it with the amazing people at GMR.

For Narnia! And for Aslan!

All of my favorite Disney characters up above there. :p:

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Congrats! I remember how excited I was to get my 1-year pin. Wear it with pride! A trick for putting on your tag so it is secure and won't rotate, use a thumb-tack to poke the hole from the back then put the pin on correctly from the front. Thumb-tacks are smaller around than the service pin so you'll have to force it through but once you do it won't go anywhere. That's how I put mine on and it never rotates and while I've lost the back more than once the pin has stayed in place.

Shioty, you didn't go to Team Center at all? I was told only Team Center could put pins on? Ha & I believed this. :o: Maybe you can put mine on for me in Aug. ;) Deal? What an honor for me. :)

Kind of hard for me to get by a Team Center considering that's a DLR thing. IIRC what you call Team Centers we call Company D. I never heard anything about not being able to put my service pin onto my name tag myself. Bring it along, I'll put it on your name tag for you, not a problem.

It's a shame seasonal people can't get them. If they could, I'd have the 5-year pin.

me too - I hit 5 years last year, but I'm CT too so no pin. I do still have my 1-yr pin from my TDS days, but for some reason don't feel right putting it on my WDW nametag.
