20,000 leagues web site

I stumbled across a cool website devoted to 20000 leagues under the sea. It has photos from construction through operations and then demolition of the attraction. Since I have not seen it mentioned here in the past few years, if ever, I thought I would share the link.

Since I only rode it once, in 1978, it was a real trip back to my childhood to see the ride.

Cool site. All there is now of the attraction are two walls of the show building and what's left of the lagoon itself (parts were filled in for Pooh's Playground and things) is grass and last I looked a bunch of trash cans were stored down there.

Sadly the little that's left will be going away as part of the Fantasyland expansion.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

I did manage to sop the Nautilus tribute on the tree at Poohs playful spot, while taking my daughter there. Nice touch !
I wish I had taken a photo.
