Hypnotize Your Way Out of a Traffic Ticket
The Gazette (Montreal, Que., Canada): How Montreal hypnotist dodged a traffic ticket
Either this is a major SGT (and possibly illegal), or it's totally awesome :D: .
I need to try that around here. Now, where in Florida could I find a Police Officer not predespositioned to question me in English at first, lol.

I can't see how it would be illegal. Unethical, maybe? Not even sure there.glendalais wrote:The Gazette (Montreal, Que., Canada): How Montreal hypnotist dodged a traffic ticket

Whether this would work on most of the officers I know, I really doubt. If this guy's story is even true, I think he may have just stumbled onto a cop who was the mental equivalent of a Mos Eisley stormtrooper. ("These are not the droids you're looking for. Move along.")
The real hilarity will come from the aftermath of the article, when readers who are not bilingual professional hypnotists try to get out of their tickets just based on this guy's description of what he did. (Admit it, you thought about it yourself. I know I did. :D :)

This reminds me of a poster I saw yesterday at http://verydemotivational.com/. I'm not sure how to post it in the post here, is it is attached below.BRWombat wrote:If this guy's story is even true, I think he may have just stumbled onto a cop who was the mental equivalent of a Mos Eisley stormtrooper. Actually the theory is sound. Brian Brushwood explains it pretty well in his SXSW panel.

they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,

Well, assuming that this is true, it doesn't seem very ethical!
