Quick, Save My Wine!
"I've just checked out of my room and I've got to get to the Park," she explained, "But I left a valuable bottle of wine in my room. I need you to get it and put it with my luggage in Bell Services!"
It was a small and reasonable request, not to mention a legitimate excuse to get away from the front desk for a short while, so I agreed. She literally threw a tip at me, and my three "nos" were cast to her retreating back as she ran off for a last few hours of fun.
So I retrieve the wine, box it up nicely, and put it with her luggage. No big deal, and I would have done as she asked even without a tip.
The "valuable bottle of wine"? Ravenswood Zinfandel, available at my local grocers for less than $10 retail. Her tip? $20.
There's something wrong with the math here, but *I* ain't gonna tell her about it!

Gee,I was polite and left a cold one in the fridge and bagged up the empties for housekeeping.

Beer....The reason I get up every,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,afternoon.

My sister and I left a few beers behind at the all star resorts. We must had made house keeping happy.

Sure it wasn't one of the single vineyard Zins? Those go for a bit more...Zazu wrote:The "valuable bottle of wine"? Ravenswood Zinfandel, available at my local grocers for less than $10 retail. Her tip? $20.
P.S. Zazu, it was fun running into you twice at Food and Wine this year! Hope you had a great Christmas.

"Value" could be more then money. "The wine we got while visiting WDW" or "The wine that was given to us on our honeymoon"
"You know me. I'm that little voice inside that tells you..."

I can remember a time when Boone's Farm Apple Wine was a valued bottle. It depends on your outlook.
