A FB friend of mine Emed me this link & her thoughts regarding William Safire. She worked under him in the 90's & said he was a demanding person, yet a wonderful teacher who had a brilliant mind. I didn't realize Safire had won The Presidential Medal of Freedom honor in 06. Thanks BRW for posting a very interesting read. R I P Mr. Safire
