The four year old koala, who survived the fires in Australia earlier this year and was shown worldwide being given a drink of water from a bottle by firefighter Richard Tree, had to be humanely euthanized during surgery.

Good on ya Mr. Tree. It's sad the poor little guy didn't make it.

Poor little guy. He was a fighter, a survivor who touched many hearts. His amazing rescue did give many hope. Sam's Hope. A Koala to remember.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Maybe they did it in person.

Well, you know, the cousin in show biz is always the odd one in the family. Plus we didn't want to dredge up the old rumors that he was the one who started the fires in the first place.

Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

I remember him saying that a Rhino would show up and stomp the fire out, he was sure of it. I think his last words were, "hold my beer and watch this..."
