Happy Birthday to Bay Lake Tower!

Today, August 4th Bay Lake Tower Officially Opens! :D:

I've seen pictures of the grand opening today on Twitter and I can't wait until I get to stay there next month!

Everything about BLT looks absolutely beautiful. There is one thing that I saw which I thought was just awesome. It was a plaque that I saw, where an honor was made to the original Tempo Bay name given to the Contemporary Resort. I thought that it was a very nice touch. For any of you that haven't seen the pictures yet, it reads:

"Discerning Disney insiders know that Tempo Bay was the original working name for Disney's Contemporary Resort, which opened with the Walt Disney World Resort on Oct. 1, 1971.

As Disney Vacation Club members are the ultimate Disney insiders, Tempo Fountain is dedicated to the first member families to call Bay Lake Tower "Home".

May it serve as an enduring symbol of a landmark resort that, like Walt Disney himself, has one foot in the past and one in the future."

Very nicely said indeed. 50 days and counting! :D:
